What happens in Tattoo?

Tattoo 2007 starts with the sports in the regent?s park. The highlight of the sports event was boat race organized at the lake in the regent?s park. We also had loads of other games like ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, basketball and touch rugby followed by trivia at the Windsor castle.

In the afternoon the garden room was set up in the Halloween mood to welcome the little members of the school community with their parents. They were enthralled by the clowns and face painting in addition to a jumpy castle. This was the first time that we had the youngest members of community participate in Tattoo.

And the final and the big event, in the evening the school came alive with what can be called as the true display of diversity of the school with all the regional clubs displaying the best of the culinary tastes in their regions. We also had regional alcohol to supplement the food. The night was also made magical by entertainment which started off in a traditional manner by the bagpipers and then opened way to the Chinese lions. The dancing ranged from flamenco, salsa and also and gypsy band. The mariachi band also lent their special flavor to the night. Belly dancers and samba dancers added spice to the night. We also had students from school community perform Indian dance, juggling. The grand finale was the school?s band in the dining hall.

Tattoo 2007 is the event which brings together the entire world in the school campus to celebrate the international diversity which the school is celebrated for!
